As endurance athletes, we've learned that the human body can endure incredible hardship — but no one should have to test those limits. This isn't just a run; it's a race against time where every stride breaks down barriers that politics has built around empty plates.
While many countries face challenges, Palestine represents a unique humanitarian crisis where basic necessities like food have become weapons of war. Unlike other regions where local support systems still exist, Palestinian families are trapped with limited access to aid.
This isn't about politics. It's about humanity. It's about ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry when we have the power to change that reality.
Every person matters. Every step counts.
I was born in a small farming village, Nangal Kalia, Haryana, India, where life revolved around the land, hard work, and simple values. My family believed in living healthily, working honestly, and giving generously. Those early lessons stayed with me, even as life took me far from home.
One of the turning points in my journey came when I became one of the first from my village to be accepted into the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). That moment cracked open a world of opportunity I had never imagined. But along with achievement came deeper questions: What was the point of success if it didn't serve something larger than myself?
That question led me to reevaluate the choices I was making. I became vegan after realizing I was harming animals for taste. That ethical shift soon deepened into spiritual exploration through practices like Vipassana meditation. My focus shifted from chasing status to seeking meaning.
